Good medicine for prostatitis(prostate infection) for 36 yr man?
I have urge to frequently urinate & bladder discomfort. went to see urologist & he told me I have prostatitis(didn't tell me which one). He told me to take doxycycline(150mg) for 30 days. The thing is, I already took azithromycin(1000mg) & ciprofloxacin(500mg)/7days & metronidazole(2000mg) which were all prescribed by two different doctors within two months period but didn't work on me. Is doxy good medicine for prostatitis? I don't want to keep taking different antibiotics which're not going to work on me. I'm near Los angeles.
I have no other symptoms such as burning nor swelling. (answers)
Enlarged veins and sharp pains after taking meds?
I was taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg, Methylpred 4mg, Omnaris nasal spray, Advil Cold & Sinus and Zyrtec for issues I had with sinuses and possible sinus infections. Well, after taking the second dose of Cipro, my joints started popping. The doc advised me to discontinue the Cipro and Methylpred. The day after the joint popping I began to feel sharp pains all over my body, and now I still get them, but my veins seem to be enlarged too when I feel the pain. What could be going on?
Oh yeah, and the Target pharmacist said it was Tendonitis... but I hadn't told her about the vein thing. The doc gave me Bactrim Ds but I'm not sure if I should take it after the vein problem started happening. (answers)
How do I become familiar with this medication list?
Like a week before school my prof. emailed me this medication list to be familiar with and write up....Is there an easier way to look up all these meds and not have to write them out? She wants me to do a drug sheet for each...
