Am I going nuts or medical side effect?
I was losing potasium due to a water pill i was taking. My doctor prescribed me some potassium pills to take ( 1 daily). So far so good. i am also taking an antbiotic ciprofloxacin. The past day or so I feel mentally out of sorts and depressed, not myself. I have been super stressed fora long time. I wonder if i am cracking up or if I'm having a side effect to one or both of my meds. I feel off and on liek I am having a psychotic episode/even a panic attack. I took the the cipro before and felt ok, but now I wonder if too much exposure to it is making me nuts. Can too much potasium make you feel crazy? I had to sing a song under my breath to feel normal cause I was really feeling crazy for a while. This lasted for a few hours off and on. It happened after I took my meds and also got some bad news. I feel a lot better now and I worked on something that took my mind off my mind, but these episodes really scared me. Maybe I will try not taking my meds tomorrow. Maybe I need more rest too.
